Agreement to Terms

By visiting mindbenderar.com or booking an experience at Mind Bender AR, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of our website and facilities.

Mind Bender AR is owned and operated by Roger Baldwin, located at 1500 Beach Blvd Suite 212, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250.

Booking & Reservations

All bookings are processed through third-party platforms — Peek Pro for AR experiences and Xola for escape rooms. By completing a booking, you agree to the terms and conditions of those platforms in addition to these terms.

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment
• You will receive a confirmation email with your booking details
• All bookings are subject to availability
• Group bookings of 10 or more should be coordinated directly with us at (904) 853-6192 or roger@mindbenderar.com

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 72 hours or more before your booking: Full refund
• 24–72 hours before your booking: Credit toward a future booking
• Less than 24 hours before your booking: No refund — the session slot cannot be resold on short notice
• No-shows: No refund

To cancel or reschedule, contact us as early as possible at (904) 853-6192 or roger@mindbenderar.com. We will always do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests.

Age Requirements

• AR experiences (Verse Immersive): Recommended for ages 7 and up. Children under 7 may have difficulty with the glasses fitting correctly. There is no upper age limit.
• Escape rooms: All ages welcome. Children under 6 are free. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• The Wood Shed (horror escape room): Due to jump scares and horror content, we recommend ages 13 and up. Parents or guardians must approve participation for minors.

Participation & Conduct

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests:

• Participants must follow all instructions from staff at all times
• No food or drink inside the experience rooms
• No alcohol consumption before or during your experience
• Closed-toe shoes are recommended for escape rooms
• Photography and video are permitted in common areas but not inside experience rooms without prior written consent
• We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or damaging to our property or other guests' experience, without refund
• Any damage to property caused by a participant will be the financial responsibility of the booking party

AR Experience — Specific Terms

• Snap Spectacles AR glasses must be worn as directed by staff
• Participants with photosensitive epilepsy should consult their physician before participating — the AR experience involves flashing lights and moving visual elements
• Pregnant women should consult their physician before participating
• Participants experiencing any dizziness or discomfort should stop immediately and notify staff
• The AR experience involves walking — participants must be able to walk unassisted on a level surface

Limitation of Liability

Mind Bender AR and its owner, employees, and agents are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our experiences, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.

By booking and participating, you acknowledge that escape rooms and AR experiences involve physical activity, low lighting, and simulated scenarios, and you accept participation at your own risk. If you have any health conditions that may be affected by these activities, please consult your physician before booking.

Intellectual Property

All content on mindbenderar.com — including text, images, graphics, and design — is owned by Mind Bender AR or licensed for our use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission. The Verse Immersive AR content is owned and licensed by Enklu/Verse Immersive.

Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Duval County, Florida.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
