Our Commitment
Mind Bender AR is committed to ensuring our website and physical venue are accessible to all guests, including those with disabilities. We believe everyone deserves access to extraordinary experiences — and we work continuously to remove barriers that might prevent that.
Website Accessibility
We aim for our website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Our ongoing efforts include:
- Descriptive alt text on all images
- Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds
- Keyboard-navigable interface
- Responsive design that works across screen sizes and devices
- Clear, descriptive link text
- Semantic HTML structure for screen reader compatibility
- No auto-playing audio or video
We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing effort. If you encounter any barriers on our website, please contact us directly — your feedback helps us improve.
Physical Venue Accessibility
Our venue at 1500 Beach Blvd Suite 212, Jacksonville Beach is accessible as follows:
- Parking: Free parking is available directly outside the building. Accessible parking spaces are available.
- Entrance: The building entrance is at ground level. Please contact us in advance if you require specific assistance navigating the entrance.
- AR Experience: The Verse Immersive AR experience requires the ability to walk unassisted on a level surface for approximately 25 minutes. The AR glasses can be worn over most prescription eyewear. Guests who use wheelchairs or have mobility limitations should contact us before booking so we can discuss accommodations.
- Escape Rooms: Our escape rooms are designed for groups and involve physical puzzles, low lighting, and movement within the room. Please contact us to discuss any specific accessibility needs before booking.
AR Experience — Sensory Considerations
The Verse Immersive AR experience involves visual elements that may affect some guests:
- Flashing lights and moving visual content — guests with photosensitive epilepsy should consult their physician before participating
- The AR glasses weigh approximately the same as standard sunglasses — no significant neck strain for most guests
- The experience involves no loud sounds or sudden audio that may affect guests with sensory sensitivities — the AR soundscape is ambient and gentle
- Virtually no motion sickness risk, as augmented reality preserves your real-world visual reference
